Umut Kaan KAVAKLI: is a recent graduate of Eskişehir Technical University, Computer Engineering Department. He served as a research assistant in the AI in Healthcare LAB and undergraduate teaching assistant in the AI in Healthcare course during 2023-2024 academic year. His research interests are deep learning, image processing and explainability AI. His current focus is semi-supervised training and loss functions. His research contributions are "Addressing Class Imbalance in Covid-19 Lesion Segmentation" and "Covid-19 Lesion Segmentation with Self-Training". His graduation thesis "Detection of Defective 2D Materials with Self-training Method" is supported by TUBITAK 2209-A program.
Onur HAKTAN: is a 2024 graduate of Eskişehir Technical University, Computer Engineering Department. He has an interest in back-end development and machine learning. As part of his thesis project, he and his teammate developed explainable AI-based models that detect eye diseases from fundus images. This work was awarded first place at the 17th Project Fair and Competition of Eskişehir Technical University and was presented at the Engineering Sciences and Research Student Congress held at Ankara Atılım University.
Emirhan SARP: is a 2024 graduate of Eskişehir Technical University, Computer Engineering Department. He is interested in cloud computing, distributed systems and explainable artificial ingelligence. His research is exploring the utilization of explainable AI techniques for the detection of lung diseases. His project is supported by TUBITAK-2209-A Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students.

Her research interest includes machine learning and image processing, with a specific focus on deep learning and explainable artificial intelligence algorithms. Her research is exploring the utilization of explainable AI techniques for the detection of lung diseases. Ebru Şara BAĞCA: is a 2024 graduate of Eskişehir Technical University, Computer Engineering Department. Her research interests include computer vision, image processing and machine learning. She successfully led the project titled "AutoBUS: AI-based Mobile App for Recognizing Bus Route Numbers for Visually Impaired Individuals". Her project is supported by TUBITAK-2209A Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students. The project also reached the final stage of the Barrier-free Living Technologies Competition at Teknofest-2023.
Ayşegül TERZİ is a 2024 graduate of Eskişehir Technical University, Computer Engineering Department. She is currently working as a software engineer at Havelsan. Her research interests include computer vision, image processing and machine learning. Her research efforts contributed to the laboratory project "Intesive Care Unit Admission Prediction for Covid-19 Patients with Chest X-ray Analysis".
Özge ÇİÇEK is a 2024 graduate of Eskişehir Technical University, Computer Engineering Department. She is a mobile application developer at Anadolu University. Her research interest is machine learning-based smartphone applications for mobile health. Her master thesis title is "Machine Learning-based Model Development in Mobile Health Applications and Device-Cloud Deployment".
